![]() The Generation III games are the only games to actually make use of the term "Bad EGG". In these games, Bad EGG is called simply EGG. Sometimes, it is not possible to battle with a Bad EGG as its back sprite is undefined. Such Eggs don't have any data specifying what they are supposed to hatch into, so the Egg simply hatches into more Eggs. That's basically it! In the video description I've included links to various info, such as PKHeX and the modified version of the Cyber Save Editor. It is possible to, through the use of a cheat device, catch an Egg in the wild or turn a Pokémon the player character already owns into an Egg. Here's the hacked latios, check out those moves. Opening our profile, we can see that our Message displays Hax, which is what we set it as in PKHeX. Now back to the Advanced Editor, we can then dismiss the Operation Paused message and the program will then encrypt and write the edited save back to the cart. Once we're done with our edits, we go to the SAV tab and export our edited save. PKHeX allows many more things to be edited, it's not just limited to editing Pokemon. Once we're done, set it back into the box. Give it some random hacked moves, it doesn't matter. After the save file is loaded into PKHeX, we can edit anything. For tutorial purposes the video shows the save file location, but if you do File->Open file in PKHeX, it should automatically go to the save file's location. Now we can open our save file with PKHeX. Once the operation paused message appears, we are then able to load our save file into PKHeX. It doesn't matter what you edit just change anything. The cart reader will then read the save file, send it to the Cyber Gadget server, then send you a decrypted version back. We then right click and open Advanced Mode. The cartridge should automatically be recognized. After we insert our cartridge, we run the program and press the OK button. Once we've installed the program included on their disk we must replace it with the modified version. Using PKHeX, a sixth gen equivalent of PokeGen, users can inject any Pokemon and make specific edits to their data. Unlike Powersaves, The Cyber Save Editor allows users to make any modifications to their savegame. Due to this restriction, a Japanese 3DS is required as the Japanese games are region locked. At the moment, a Japanese copy of the game is required as they do not support international games. ![]() Using their 3DS cartridge reader, users can dump, write, and edit their savegames. ![]() So a couple weeks ago, the CyberGadget company in Japan unveiled support for X/Y. ![]()
